張り子のお面屋『狐阿弥堂』

狐阿弥堂（こあみどう）とは、お面作家 尾澤雲恵 による張り子面の個人ブランドです。

狐阿弥堂の全てのお面は張り子細工、つまり紙製であり、その一点一点が作家による手作りです。

脆い安物というイメージも多い張り子細工ですが、本物の張り子面とは軽く頑丈なものであり、例えば伝統文化である『お神楽』用の『神楽面』は、

今でも張り子によるお面が多く採用されています。 

"Koamido" is a personal brand of papier-mâché masks created by mask artist Unkei Ozawa.

All of our masks are papier-mâché, and each mask is handmade by the artist.

Many papier-mâché products are, nowadays, considered to be fragile and cheap.

However, "real" papier-mâché masks are light and sturdy, for example, many papier-mâché masks are still used in the traditional culture of "kagura," or Shinto music and dance.
